Helping Families support their Children

The Dyson Family Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to combat weekend hunger and provide educational opportunities to underprivileged youth.

Founded in Singleton, NSW, the Dyson Family Foundation was established to help lighten the load for families experiencing tough times by offering weekend food packs.

This initiative, called ‘BackPack Pals’, is the flagship program of the Foundation. We work in conjunction with schools across the Singleton, Muswellbrook, and Cessnock Local Government Areas to offer an extra layer of support in an anonymous and respectful way.

The Backpack Pals is the pioneer initiative
created by the Dyson Family Trust Foundation.

Looking to provide weekend support by way of food packs given to students whose families may be experiencing financial difficulties or those simply requiring additional support in trying times.

The initiative will be accessed via the childs school by way of a pre-packed provision of food and will contain enough food to cater for two breakfasts’, two lunch/dinners and two snacks.
